Illustration talks

A typical talk (depending on size and age of group) can include:

• A talk about illustration/techniques/the book publishing process
• Showing of original artwork, sketchbooks, rough drafts, dummy books
• Reading from a book
• Q&A
• Worksheets/handouts

Workshop Sessions

Sarah is happy to hold longer workshop sessions in the classroom. These can be between one and three days, depending on the nature of the project.

She can suggest fun ideas and is open to incorporating projects already being worked on in class. The primary aim is to show children that writing, reading and drawing can be fun.
